Lynda Roberts

Lynda first started her real estate career in 1986 on the south coast of NSW with ERA RAY White Sanctuary Point. Initially, her role was to computerise the office (having been a computer programmer with the public service in Canberra), but before long the role expanded to Property Manager. Lynda then went to work as a relief agent for various agencies along the south coast training their staff in the computer systems and also entering into sales.

On moving to Queensland in 1989, Lynda's first job was in property management with Raine and Horne.

Then, with a new family member on the way, Lynda returned to family life and a career change to journalism and marketing during which time she was the editor of the Peninsula Post before establishing the Redcliffe City News (

In 2007 she took on the role of administration and marketing for Gateway Properties, an independent agency.

In 2010 with the family now grown up Lynda joined Mel at MV Real Estate where they are becoming known as the Life Style Team.

On a personal level Lynda has been involved in community work since her school days and has received numerous awards from various organisations. At one point she bred and trained German Shepherd dogs and was part of the National German Shepherd Dog Association.

While her children were at school, a period which spanned 20 years, she was involved in executive roles on school P & C's. Sport has also been important and Lynda held executive, coaching and/or marketing roles in ten pin bowling, soccer, basketball and baseball.

In 2000 she was chosen to carry the Olympic Flag for services to schools and sport and was given the honour of lighting her torch from the Olympic Cauldron at Suttons Beach, Redcliffe.

2003 was an amazing time for Lynda when she became Redcliffe Citizen of the Year for services to sport, schools, disability groups and the local community.

Lynda believes friendly, personal, professional, efficient service is essential in today’s environment.

To Lynda, it isn't just about selling houses, it's about helping people achieve their dream of moving to their next Life Style choice.
