The apprasial value of a property is estimated using a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) through a real estate information website such as RPData or PriceFinder. Most of the data is available to the public but it is the interpretation of the data that forms the CMA.

The comparison and assessment of the sold properties, those on the market and the local knowledge is how an estimated price range for a home is done as an online appraisal. The final range can’t be estimated without a viewing of the home or property. This is when we can take improvements, maintenance issues and the general condition of the property into the equation.

Call Mel or Lynda if you would like a CMA done on your home. Always good to keep up with market trends.
